In most petrol stations on motorways in Europe you have to pay for the toilet about 0.50 Euros or in some stations you have to leave some change - this is NOT included in the total spending.

In Austria and Hungary you have to pay motorway tax - 3.50 Euros for 10 days use of the motorway - this is NOT included in the total spending (there is a fine of 1000 Euros if you don't).

It is better to get off the motorway and find a hotel / motel for the night a bit off the motorway - you will save a lot of money by doing this! (on the motorway hotel / motel is from about 55 Euros, off the motorway about 20 to 35 Euros!!) the same applies to  petrol stations.  If you have time, get off the motorway and fill petrol somewhere nearby.
